ngratulations to Partner Club Alpharetta Ambush for their national championship win in the U17 division.  The team won 4-1 over St. Louis Scott Gallagher (MO) in Overland Park, Kansas.  Also, congrats to Karl Chester (golden ball) and Kevin Quintana (golden glove) for their respective awards.  Click here to watch a short video highlighting the National Championship run.

First Ever

Coaching Diploma Trip

The International Academy’s Coaching Diploma session came to an end this week, with many memories for all that attended.  For some it was fulfilling a life long dream, and for others it was gaining more experience to better their coaching.  Overall the trip was a huge success.  You can check out the full coverage of the event here.

2012 National Camp Dates

January 10, 2012 - 2012 National Camp dates announced. The West Ham United International Academy are pleased to announce the dates for the 2012 National Camp at Darlington School, Rome GA. Camp 1 will be for U10-U13 boys and U12-U18 Girls – July 28th-31st. Camp 2 will be for U14-U18 Boys from August 1st -4th.  The camp will be under the direction of legendary West Ham United Academy Director Tony Carr and is by invitation only.  To see videos of the 2011 National Camp please click here.

New Partner Club Announced

February 10, 2012 - The West Ham United International Academy today announced a partnership with Blast FC of Central Ohio.  Blast FC, a premier soccer club, was started in 1986 by Stan Clark and Lesh Shkreli. They have been in existence for over 25 years and are presently the longest running soccer club in central Ohio.  Lesh Shkreli is the full time Director of Coaching. Mohamood Razack, Director for the girls programs joined The Blast FC in 1994.  Blast FC  has teams playing in the Midwest Regional League, Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League, and the Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League,  they have won over 40 State and Regional Cups. The first ever Blast FC, West Ham United International Academy Player ID Camp will be held June 1-3rd - for more information and to register, please click here.

San Antonio Player ID Camp

March 19, 2012 - West Ham United International Academy recently held a Player ID Camp in San Antonio, TX.  Players from this camp will be selected to attend the 2012 National Camp in Rome, GA.  Pictures from the camp can be found on our facebook page, and a parent has submitted a video to us that they created from the camp.  Click here to see the video, and remember that we always encourage parents to submit photos of your campers from one of our camps to be posted online.

2012 Elite Academy Experience

April 6, 2012 - West Ham United International Academy’s Elite Academy Experience 2012 has come to an end now with over 30 players selected to go to the West Ham United training grounds in London, England.  Remember that everyone is free to attend a local Player ID Camp in order to have the opportunity to be a part of the Elite Academy Experience.
