2010 National Camp Highlights

July 28, 2010 - The National Camp has now come and gone.  We had a great turnout from our campers having over 160 at the camp.  And the coaches that came over from England said that it was a great atmosphere the whole week at camp and that the campers gave it their all throughout the whole camp.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!

ngratulations to Partner Club Alpharetta Ambush for their national championship win today in the U17 division.  The team won 4-1 over St. Louis Scott Gallagher (MO) in Overland Park, Kansas today.  Also, congrats to Karl Chester (golden ball) and Kevin Quintana (golden glove) for their respective awards.  Click here to watch a short video highlighting the National Championship run.

Paul Heffer in Africa


August 6, 2010 - West Ham United Assistant Youth Academy Director, Paul Heffer received a call for help from West Ham supporter Dr Alan Whitcomb. The help was for the youngsters of the Blantyre area of the Central Africa country of Malawi.  Click here to read more about this story.   

Player ID Camp Bermuda

September 1st, 2010 - International Academy Partner, The Bermuda Football Association, held a West Ham United International Academy camp last week. Former West Ham United and Bermuda legend, Clyde Best (pictured with our coaches) was a surprise visitor on Friday.  The camp was staffed by West Ham United UK based Academy coaches Mark Phillips and Dave Hunt along with James Meara and Mike Kelleher from the US.  One stand out attendee, Amar Lewis was invited to spend a week at the West Ham United Academy in London later this year as part of the partnership with the BFA - click here to read more.
